"Captain's log, Stardate 3658.9 - The Enterprise has arrived to the planet Sigma Mu III, th provide supplies for an archeological mission on the surface. After three hours of silence, we have recieved no response to our hails. Lieutenant Uhura achieved a breakthrough by re-modulating our subspace transcievers. The only signal that came through was a garbled cry that cannot be misunderstood. Given the delicate situation at hand, an extended landing party will accompany the standard away team. As the unique magnetic composition of the planet renders the transporter unusable, a flock of shuttles will land planetside. I'll personally lead the mission on the shuttlecraft Galileo, with Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy forming the core of the landing party."
