Heimann's Polaris

During the week, I've designed a completely new ship to replace my old design for the Maria Boccioni class. Instead of a Sovereign variant, this is my own design, with influences drawn from the Voyager and the Aventine. She's somewhere between them in size and power. She is a multiply independent long-range cruiser, and this defines her special gimmick. You'll see it in my next image

In-universe, she is designed by the superhuman intellect Jared Colson and captained by Kirsten Heimann, both survivors of Uriah Noah's USS Polaris. During the dark days of Typhon powers expansion, this incarnation of the Polaris became a hero on her own right, by venturing into Tzenkethi space and convincing them to join the Khitomer Alliance instead. Only Nixon could go to China, only Heimann could go to Tzenketh. After all, this brave lady was born on Tzenketh and is a de jure Tzenkethi citizen. Despite all odds, she flew her Polaris to a dangerous, but ever brighter future. These are the continuing voyages of the Starship Polaris...
