Fifty

Fifty years ago, a Five-Year mission began. It inspired others to continue, to boldly go into the unknown. The legendary crew became examples to follow: logic, emotion and the sense of adventure in between. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, Chekov, Chapel, Rand, Kyle, Leslie, and all the others who served on the USS Enterprise became even more: they became our friends. This day, we salute them. This day, and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, as we did yesterday and the day that came before. These are our voyages...
