Hello:
Another awesome image. It is not really any hard to imagine it as a scene from the tv series.

 Awesome work :) .

Hello:
And you are welcome :) .

That model of the USS Voyager looks high-poly enough to blow-up most pc games :D

Yupp, built her myself. While not perfect, she's a not too bad representation of the real deal...

Hello:
You made a great work building her, I don't think any would do any nitpick about that model at all :) ... unless you made her have a realitic-sized shuttlebay :happybounce: .

LOL, the VOY never had a realistically sized shuttlebay. The thing has a TARDIS inside or whatever :D

Hello:
A TARDIS-style shuttlebay? that is a good one Laughing , and it would surely explain a lot of things Boogie! .

... and to use the restroom, buy some snacks, cold drinks and a roadmap only to be hassled on your way out by someone selling 'authentic' Navajo artifacts.

Normally they'd say no, but that metal lizard is just way too cool...

You know, I always wondered what the left out piece was supposed to be right above the aft torpedo launcers. the place whee they just a big hole in the hull. Not the greyish patch but the piece between it, and the aft torpedo launchers

Wow, this is a very fresh Voyager piece. I've never cared for the fact that this ship can land.... but that said, this is a great perspective. I really like the activity on the fantail, too. Great vision, my friend!

Love the little type-15 shuttlepod parked out on the fantail.:D

Voyager never seemed to have one, but since the ship (apparently) had an inexhaustible supply of type-6 class shuttles to crash or blow up, as well as carrying the Delta Flyer and Neelix's ship... I wouldn't be all that surprised that there was a type-15 tucked in behind all the crates of pickled Vidiian cactus-maggot steaks intended for Neelix's kitchen.:o

Yeah, the Type-15 was probably the only piece of Starfleet gear that was supplied by IKEA...:)

This should have been done more often in Voyager.

I read in issue 9 of 'Star Trek - The Complete Starships Collection' that the Defiant was also built to land. Would it be possible for you come up with a scene where the Defiant is landed, but with the landing leg's visible ?.

:iconthefirstfleet:
thefirstfleet Featured By Owner Feb 1, 2014
Yeah, the MSD even incorporates the landing legs. Apparently, the writers were never informed about this, and this is canonical information!

Landed Defiant? We'll see :D

I could, but I don't know if the animation preset would survive. The nacelles are animated to bend as they did in the series...

Is it wise to have a multi-thousand ton vessel to land with four tiny landing legs on such a non-solid surface?

No, but making Janeway the commander of anything but a shuttle is not wise either :D
