"USS Enterprise, Captain Pavel Chekov commanding. It has been three years now since my friend and mentor, Kipten James T. Kirk was lost during this wessil's trial run. Vith our first mission complete, ve look forvard to continue on the footsteps of Kipten Kirk and all the starships named Enterprise: to boldly go where no man has gone before".
Here she is, folks, my spin on the Enterprise-B, jumping on the bandwagon on how to make the third 1701 look less silly than she has appeared in canon. I kept the nacelle fins, they reminded me of the classic Connie's intercoolers, and I re-imagined the nacelle front ends/Bussard collectors. They're still blue, I think the reddish colour looks weird on the Excelsior class. The concept of Chekov being her Captain is originated by an amazing fanfiction, "Mission of Honor", written by Virginia Boehm Worthen, years before Generations was released. I find it appropriate that the command of the Federation flagship is given to an experienced veteran and not a greenhorn like they did it in canon. Also, we need more Russian Captains!
Model by me Concept based upon the works of Brannon Braga and Virginia Boehm Worthen
Nice work, looks amazing! I'm apparently one of the few that prefers the cannon Enterprise-B though. The regular Excelsior class looks too plain, but that's just me.
I hope with a ex-Enterprise crewman/Captain on the bridge they are a) more ready than Harriman, b) able to rescue more people than Harriman and c) kick much more ass than Harriman!
Even so Kirk still gets sucked into the ribbon in the Polaris universe? Hope its more dramatic and fitting than in Generations!

And don't worry, badassdom shall reign.
