Nierruwh is standing on the bridge of his Narada, looking at the sight before him: the Enterprise stands proudly on the viewscreen, and he knows it's finished. He has lost everything, his home, his family, and now he will lose whetever is still left for and of him. As the Narada breaks up in the wormhole, Acting Captain Kirk can relax for a moment. The battle is over... but it's still a long way home.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this concludes my series of re-envisioning JJ Abrams' Trek. Now imagine the awesomeness of the Scimitar/Narada's wings being ripped apart by the forces of the wormhole. The rest is the same, with Lieutenant Kirk being given a field promotion to Captain at the end and the Enterprise flies off into the unknown. For the voyages must continue...

And not a lens flare in sight. Excellent image and a very good 're-think' of the scene!
