Polaris - The Long WinterFresh snow was crunching at his feet. He always liked that sound. It was a sound of childhood, a memory of all the happy Elizabethtown winters returning to ease the calamities of the world around him. Calamities, an understatement of what was going around this godforsaken planet. Around Captain David Metlesits, Kzinhome was burning.
The Federation forces were slowly gaining the upper hand in the Federation-Kzinti War, what started out as the upteenth Kzin-Caitian War and would have become the fourth Man-Kzin War had Maria Boccioni not blackmailed Starfleet Command to finally put an end to the Kzinti threat.

Help needed for PolarisAfter one and a half years of my Polaris fanverse, I came to realize a few things about it. Looking back to the days in which it was concieved, I can understand why my fan universe looks the way it does.
Let's just say, I was in a terrible mood back then. All the stresses coming from school life and, more importantly, family life, had taken a toll on my poor soul. The original concept of Starship Polaris was not affected by them, not really much. It was basically a Firefly-ized Trek universe, in which the underdog characters in their underdog ship find out slowly but steadily that the Federation is on a thin line between utopia and dystopia.

In the past two weeks, I have upgraded my TMP Enterprise model. I competely re-built the saucer, the neck, the torpedo launcher module and the hangar doory. I updated the bridge area and built a real 3D rec deck, as seen in TMP. Some other tiny parts were upgraded as well. Thus, more than half of the model is completely new.

Just faved the Enterprise; I wonder, though: Can you try a 3D render of a ship I designed called the Independence?
Saucer: Sovereign
Deflector Housing: Akira
Spoiler on top, similar to USS Reliant
Nacelles: Sovereign; they're below the main hull, hung upside-down.
