the song is a poor copy of the original by aled jones, but then i am a stickler for the real thing, being married to the daughter of one of the background artists on the snowman! The picture, however, is a very good rendition of the "UGLY" ship in orbit, lol

I haven't heard the original, and I like this lady's voice :D

And poor Ent-D, you made her sad :D

it's what the crew on set called the 'd', it was even formed of the windows on the smaller model (back of the neck, which was never shown on screen, but it was still there! lol.

not a critique of the voice, just prefer the original, as i can actually understand it better. that lady almost seemed to swallow the words before they came out of her mouth.

good for you to be inspired, maybe you might like "clannad", they have some haunting tones too!

A song that I would never of expected to inspire such a stunning image of any starship, let alone the beautiful 1701-D. Amazing job Dave

It was the first time I ever heard that song. And this line was fitting for the journey of the Enterprise.

The song is virtually considered a Christmas classic here in the UK, and now that I think about it, a fitting song for the ship and the image :)
