I know you don't consider personally ENT Canon, heck novels are not Canon either, but the 3 ENT novels covering the Romulan War are an excellent read.

Very nice. I hate to be that guy but is the date right? I thought the Romulan War was in 2160.

Hey, typos happen, even in the 22nd Century. And especially during wartime.

Victory, finally! About Thieurrul, don't worry: Hellguard (alternative name for that world) is being abandoned by the Grand Fleet. So fast they're killing their own civilians (heads will roll when the Senate hears of this).

Hellguard deserves its name. What the Romulans did there, even after the War...

I read the novel, my favourite Trek story to date.

Read the entire series, it's worth it. And don't worry, the Romulans won't do that again. Just look at their reaction at Shinzon: as long as he fought the Federation they were OK with it, when they figured out HOW the Two Worlds garrison waited for him to be away from Romulus and then started moving (from Shinzon's reaction and Donatra's confidence, I think they were just the first wave and the rest of the Grand Fleet was coming or moving to intercept).

The entire series? I know The Pandora Principle and Unspoken Truth. Which are the others?

Oh... No, I was talking about the Rihannsu series. It includes:
My Enemy, My Ally (in which we meet commander Ael and find out about what corrupt elements of the Romulan governement are doing);
The Romulan Way (in which we see about the society of the Two Worlds and how it came to be, and Ael makes a cameo in the end to prove not all Romulans lost their honor);
Swordhunt (in which we see an attempt to prevent the Second Romulan War and the last plan of the Romulan governement. Was originally published as the separate novels Swordhunt and Honor Blade);
The Empty Chair (in which the Second Romulan War and the Romulan Civil War have erupted, and Ael, with Kirk's help, has to defeat the governement before it's too late).

Awesome, but one question: Why is most of the text under the article "Celebrations" in latin?

Thank you very much!

The Latin stuff is just filler, I was lazy :D

Very good, do more of these. Perhaps as an idea you could have a time travel story, not naming but hinting to Daniels eg, Zindi war.

I consider the events of ENT non-canon now. So, there was no Xindo war. There was, however, a Kzinti war, that was even more deadly...

Ok, that sounds cool, perhaps you could even do the episode little green men from ds9 when Quark, Rom etc land on earth at a different time, there was a newspaper page of that, you could do your own.

What on earth is all this from anyways? Your own meanderings or is this something that actually happened in canon?

The Romulan War did happen in ST canon, as mentioned by Spock in TOS: Balance of Terror and Picard in TNG: Gambit. The stories and ships presented here are based upon Masao Okazaki's Starfleet Museum:

Okay, sorry you'll have forgive me.

I'm not as familiar with much of the backstory etc to Star Trek as I am with other scifi series. It's limited to games and a widely spaced array of episodes I'm afraid.

Thanks for the link, looks like fun.

Now you need to do a shot based on that famous NYC VE Day photo.... with a Caitian dipping a Vulcan female for a victory kiss ;)

Neither of the two races were involved in the War (the Caitians weren't even discovered :D ), although a shot with Capt. Randolph and his wife Alice might be a good substitute...

Come to think of it... a Vulcan and a Caitian... is that furry fetish, interracial or bestiality? :D
