Katya knows shuttles aren't my thing, so she does everything for a smooth landing. Why can't we use the damned transporter? The whole kit and kaboodle was banned for living tissue throughout the Federation. Some bigwig must've lost the family jewels while beaming up and down. So much for Heisenberg compensators. A shuttlecraft, on the other hand, is considered safe, though still uncomfortable. Still, it's the only way for us to land on... what's the name of this place, anyway? After colony-hopping the past year, I kinda lost track. New Perth, Lima-III, whatever. Dustball Prime, at least that's a fitting name. The colonists were speaking about raids by some cat-people. Never heard of those outside the stuff the Japanese entertain people with.
I bet it's because of the book I wrote. Linus Randolph, pariah of the Federation. Well, if they can't bear the truth, sucks for them. Still, I bet Sinsajo and Ensslin get better jobs than Polaris. We get colony hopping missions, like if we were in the Second Colonials, ot the First fleet. Sometimes, I wonder what fate can and will befall my crew because of me...
